Bihar Museum is a dream project of the visionary Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar which was brought to fruition by Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General. Bihar Museum is planned to precision by Canada-based consultancy firm Lord Cultural Resources.

Parry Sound's Bobby Orr Hall of Fame to close for redesign that will include stories of Canada's Indigenous athletes
Parry Sound, July 8, 2022

The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame will be receiving a grant of $494,250 from the federal Tourism Recovery Fund administered by FedNor, according to the Town of Parry Sound.

In March, an exhibition design and fabrication team consisting of exhibition fabricators Kubik Maltbie, design firm WeatherstonBruer Associates, and Lord Cultural Resources will handle interpretive planning, research, and content writing.

Jackie Robinson’s family home in Stamford, Conn., had a den featuring trophies, artifacts and a big scrapbook commemorating his many achievements. David Robinson, his son, fondly recalled in an interview how one wall held photos and plaques depicting his father’s success in sports. Another wall — with a collection twice as big — highlighted his father’s social activism, something of far greater significance to Jackie Robinson and his family.

American Institute of Architects Elects Kimberly Dowdell as its 100th President and First Black Female President

The Architect’s Newspaper reports Dowdell was elected by delegates at the 2022 AIA Annual Meeting, held virtually earlier this month. Dowdell’s one-year tenure will begin in 2024. In 2023, Dowdell will serve as the AIA First Vice President/2024 President-elect. Current First Vice President Emily Grandstaff-Rice will become president, replacing current President Dan Hart.
