Mudam

The MUDAM was inaugurated in 2006 in a building designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei to welcome the first contemporary art collection of Luxembourg. The MUSEUM has had great success as a result of its exhibitions, its cultural programs and its partnerships with renowned cultural institutions, welcoming 75,000 visitors in 2012.

Lordculture, the European office of Lord Cultural Resources, was commissioned to conduct an audit of the museum and develop an evaluation of its first 7 years of operations.

Our analysis was focused on five decisive aspects of the Museum:

1. The mission;
2. The architecture and the functional aspects of the building;
3. The collections and cultural programming;
4. Human and financial resources; and
5. The Museum marketing and communications strategy.
