Congratulations to Hinchliffe Stadium on winning the 2024 Richard H. Driehaus Foundation National Preservation Award, presented by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

We are thrilled to announce that Crain’s New York Business has named Joy Bailey-Bryant, Lord president and managing partner, as one of this year’s Notable Black Leaders.

Fantastic news for the Bobby Orr Hall Of Fame, which was recently awarded the CASH (Canadian Association for Sport Heritage) Award of Excellence and the ISHY (International Sports Heritage Association) 2024 Award for New Exhibit.

We recently gathered at Lord’s Toronto office for the BIPOC Fellowship End-of-Project Symposium, an event marking the culmination of our pilot program.

We’re delighted to announce the release of Tucson’s State of Culture report, the latest milestone in the ¡Somos Uno! endeavor. ¡Somos Uno! is a ground-breaking, visionary initiative launched in 2023 to develop the city’s first-ever Cultural Heritage Strategy. 

Our team has been busy working on some extraordinary projects that we can’t wait to share with you. In the meantime, we wanted to highlight just a few projects that opened over the last few months and give you a peek inside our work.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our esteemed colleague Dr. Ahmed Ghazali who tragically died in a car accident in Morocco on July 27th. Ahmed collaborated with Lord on multiple cultural projects since 2017, with his expertise and dedication significantly contributing to our work across continents. His loss is profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of working with him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and colleagues around the world.

“The Arts Council believes that investing in arts and culture will uplift the entire Rockford region by telling Rockford’s many stories.

The Arts Council consulted with Lord Cultural Resources whose mission statement is ‘making the world a better place through culture’, and that starts from within their team. We’ve had the honor of working with a powerhouse team from Lord. They’ve impressed city officials, community leaders, and Rockford Region residents with their knowledge of Rockford’s history and their Rockford current events proficiency — I hear about regional wins from the Lord team before they hit our media’s websites.”

We’re thrilled to share that The Leaf has been recognized with a National Award of Excellence from the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. We worked with Assiniboine Park from 2015-2023 to help plan this new horticultural attraction in Winnipeg.
