• 2024 Richard H. Driehaus Foundation National Preservation Award, presented by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Crain’s New York Business has named Joy Bailey-Bryant, Lord president and managing partner, as one of this year’s Notable Black Leaders.

Joy’s award acknowledges her extraordinary contributions to cultural planning, including her work on such projects as the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture and The Schomberg Center for Research in Black Culture.

Misko-Aki: Confluence of Cultures was created by a collaborative team that included Indigenous elders, scholars, linguists, artists, and graphic designers. In 2020, Lord Cultural Resources was invited by Tim Johnson to join a team to develop the exhibit, with extensive consultation and collaboration with the seven Indigenous Nations connected to the Muskoka region. 

In October 2022, Blooloop released it’s annual 50 Museum Influencer List, highlighting 50 key individuals whose innovation and creativity have been integral to developing today’s museums. Joy Bailey-Bryant, President of our US office, has been voted as one of the top Power of 10 in this list.

The blooloop 50 Museum Influencer list 2020 was revealed today at the blooloop V-Expo.The inaugural Blooloop Museum Influencer List 2020 celebrates innovation, excellence and creativity in museums and science centers worldwide. Gail Lord was voted as part of this list.

In 2016, Lord Cultural Resources was invited to be a part of an international team tasked with re-imagining the iconic Perlan in Reykjavik, Iceland. The exhibition is a spectacular, immersive experience that explores the geological forces that make the country a wonder of the world.

Lord Cultural Resouces was commissioned, along with Origin Studios and Kubik, to produce the Interpretation and Exhibition Design Concept and execute the Content Development for the entire exhibit area, including the outdoor trail experience through Lover’s Lane that interprets literary, cultural and local history.

The American Kennel Club (AKC) is a storied institution with well over a century of history related to the breeding, registry and sport of purebred dogs. Over the course of its long history, the AKC has built one of the world’s largest collections of fine art and artifacts relating to dogs.
