BIPOC Fellowship Symposium

We recently gathered at Lord’s Toronto office for the BIPOC Fellowship End-of-Project Symposium, an event marking the culmination of our pilot program.

The BIPOC Fellowship was developed in 2020 by Karen Carter, co-founder of Black Artists’ Network in Dialogue, and Gail Lord, co-founder of Lord Cultural Resources, to present new leadership opportunities for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour who are professionals in the Canadian arts and culture sectors.

This evening of reflection, celebration and community building honoured the success of the BIPOC Fellowship, acknowledged the invaluable support it received and shared insights on the impact and growth of the program.

We have lots to share soon about the program’s creation, impact and future hopes - please stay tuned for more, and sign up for our newsletter to make sure you don't miss future updates.
