Project Experience
MUSÉE MCCORD MUSEUM
Since its inception in 1921, the Musée McCord Museum’s collection and facility have continued to grow in order to meet institutional goals and the demands of an ever-broadening constituency. Today, the Museum’s facility has reached a critical impasse in its ability to meet the current and future programmatic needs of the institution.
The Musée McCord Museum commissioned Lord Cultural Resources to complete an Operational Feasibility Study to explore implications of expansion into the Le Caveau property. Lord Cultural Resources, together with Susan Schiffman, a Montreal based management consultant, investigated the operational implications of the Museum expanding its facility, and developed five-year revenue and expense projections.
