Lord’s COO and Senior Practice Leader Kathleen Brown quoted in Canadian Art Magazine
Canadian Art Magazine spoke to the Winnipeg Art Gallery and Quebec City’s Galerie3 about reopening to the public, and has interviewed Kathleen Brown on a new suite of Lord services for museums and art galleries in the post pandemic world.
“Shutting down is fairly easy—it’s really the reopening that, from the outset, we knew would be a huge challenge,” Brown explains.
The services include reopening strategies, future-proofing and resilience planning, digital strategies, strategic communications and shovel-readiness for government and other funders’ recovery projects.
“It’s one thing to reopen museums,” says Brown, “and it’s another to position yourself flexibly and responsibly so you can respond to different circumstances coming down the road.”
