Project Experience
Museum of Romanticism
The National Ossolinski Institute, one of the largest scientific libraries and the oldest extant publishing house in Poland, decided to realize the inherent value of its historic collections on the subject of Polish Romanticism by creating a new museum. The institution will be located on the main square of Wroclaw in an historic monument. It will not only have the educational mandateof demonstrating the influence of romanticism on the development of Polish culture and history, but is also expected to constitute a new attraction for tourists.
Lordculture, the European company of Lord Cultural Resources, was commissioned by the Institute to plan the facility and to develop an approach to interpretation of this aspect of Poland's cultural heritage for the future museum. The outcome will be a building that functions effectively as a museum, and exhibits that tell the story of romanticism in Poland.
